RENEWABLE ENERGY CONFERENCE & EXPO 2026 — POWERING UGANDA’S GREEN FUTURE

Uganda will host the 7th Renewable Energy Conference & Expo from 19–22 October 2026 at Kampala Serena Hotel. Organized under the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development together with the National Renewable Energy Platform, the event will run under the theme “From Systems to Scale: Powering Uganda’s Green Economy.”

The expo will provide a platform for stakeholders in renewable energy to discuss how Uganda can expand access to cleaner and more sustainable sources of power. It will bring attention to the technologies, businesses and ideas that can help the country move towards a stronger green economy while addressing the growing demand for reliable energy.

The event is also an opportunity for companies, investors, policymakers and innovators to connect and explore opportunities within Uganda's renewable-energy sector. Solar power, energy efficiency and other clean-energy solutions are increasingly important to businesses, households and communities, particularly as Uganda continues to expand its economy.

Beyond the conference rooms, the expo tells a bigger story about Uganda's future: how can the country grow while making better use of cleaner and more sustainable energy? This makes the event a strong topic for a WildPulse blog because it connects innovation, business and Uganda's long-term development.
