Itinerary

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Your journey begins with a morning departure from Entebbe or Kampala. En route, you’ll stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking on foot, the only place in Uganda to see rhinos in the wild. After lunch, continue through scenic countryside to Murchison Falls National Park. Arrive in the evening, check in to your lodge, and relax as you prepare for the adventure ahead.

Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise

Start the day with an early morning game drive in the northern sector of Murchison Falls, where you may spot lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and more. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile to the base of the powerful Murchison Falls. The scenery is dramatic, with hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife along the riverbanks. Optional hike to the top of the falls for a closer view of the roaring water.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, depart Murchison Falls and enjoy a scenic drive through the Albertine Rift Valley. Arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park in the evening. Check into your lodge and unwind as you take in views of savannah plains, crater lakes, and the Rwenzori ranges.

Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Enjoy a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector (if included), elephants, and buffaloes. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, one of Africa’s richest wildlife viewing waterways, famous for large hippo pods and dense birdlife.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast, journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through scenic rolling hills and terraced landscapes. Arrive at your lodge near the forest and prepare for the highlight of your safari. In the evening, you may enjoy a cultural experience with the Batwa community, learning about their traditional forest life.

Gorilla Trekking & Return to Entebbe

Early morning, head into Bwindi for your unforgettable gorilla trekking experience. Spend time observing a habituated gorilla family in their natural habitat—one of the most powerful wildlife encounters in Africa. After the trek, begin your journey back to Entebbe with a stop at the Uganda Equator for photos and souvenir shopping. Arrive in the evening, marking the end of your safari.
