Itinerary

1

Day 1- Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve.

You will enjoy the scenery en route as you head to Masai Mara National Reserve which is home to over 400 species of birds and also home to abundant wildlife among them the famous Big Five. You'll enjoy lunch after checking in. After unwinding at the lodge, you'll enjoy an evening game drive in search of wild animals. You will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Accommodation: Masai Mara Sopa Lodges. Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner.";

2

Day 2: Full Day in the Masai Mara

A complete day in the Masai Mara ecosystem. Morning and afternoon game drives explore the reserve's core areas: the Mara River crossing points (spectacular July–October), the Rhino Ridge, and the rolling Mara triangle. The Mara's big cat density is extraordinary — experienced guides know the territories of resident lion prides and cheetah females with cubs. Evening sundowners in the bush as hyenas begin their nocturnal chorus. Overnight in the Mara.

3

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Nakuru — Flamingos & Rhinos

Drive north along the Rift Valley floor through the rolling Mau Escarpment to Lake Nakuru National Park. Afternoon game drive around the alkaline lake: flocks of flamingos painting the shoreline pink, white rhino grazing in the fever tree forest, and lion often spotted on Baboon Cliff overlooking the lake. The park also holds Rothschild's giraffe and Defassa waterbuck in good numbers. Overnight near Nakuru.

4

Day 4: Aberdare National Park — The Ark

Drive to the Aberdare National Park, a high-altitude moorland and rainforest reserve on the slopes of the Aberdare mountain range. Transfer to the famous Ark Lodge — a multi-level game-viewing structure above a floodlit waterhole and salt lick. Arrive in the afternoon and spend the evening watching a continuous procession of wildlife: elephant, buffalo, black rhino, bongo antelope, and bush pig, all drawn to the lights and salt. Guests sleep in-house to maximise night-time sightings. Overnight at the Ark.

5

Day 5: Aberdare & Transfer to Amboseli

Continue watching wildlife at the Ark through the early morning — lion and leopard are sometimes spotted here after dawn. After breakfast, transfer through the Aberdare moorlands and down to the savanna below. Drive south past Mount Kenya and Nairobi, continuing to Amboseli National Park. Arrive in the late afternoon for an evening game drive as the elephants return to the swamp and the Kilimanjaro silhouette appears against the darkening sky. Overnight in Amboseli.

6

Day 6: Full Day in Amboseli National Park

A full day in Amboseli — sunrise, when Kilimanjaro is clearest and the elephant families move from their overnight resting areas to the swamp, is the most photogenic hour of the entire safari. Spend the morning driving between the park's five ecosystems: open plains, swamp, woodland, rocky thorn-bush, and the lake basin. Afternoon drive through the Enkongo Narok swamp where hundreds of elephants wade and splash. Optional Maasai manyatta visit in the early evening. Overnight in Amboseli.

7

Day 7: Amboseli Observation Hill & Afternoon Transfer

Morning game drive and a visit to Observation Hill — Amboseli's best vantage point, from which the entire park layout and its wildlife congregations can be seen in one sweeping panorama. Kilimanjaro looms behind the swamps in the morning clarity. After brunch and check-out, begin the drive back towards Nairobi with an en-route stop at a Maasai market town. Overnight at a Nairobi hotel.

8

Day 8: Nairobi — Giraffe Centre & Departure

Depending on your departure time, enjoy a final morning at the Nairobi Giraffe Centre — where you can hand-feed endangered Rothschild's giraffe at eye level — or the Karen Blixen Museum in the leafy suburb of Karen. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure, concluding an 8-day safari that has taken you across Kenya's most spectacular ecosystems, from the volcanic Rift Valley to the shadow of Africa's highest mountain.
